Another project that would enhance the matchday experience would be to have a semi permanent historical display placed in Robin Park and to be used in the Fan Zone during match days.
The idea is to have a display unit in three sections (similar to the picture below) with memorabilia and information on the following with fans and collectors lending the items to be used:
Section One – A past player – with pictures, shirts, general information and other related memorabilia.
Section Two – A past big game – whether this be the World Club Challenge, Challenge Cup Final or simply another Big Game.
Section Three – Memorabilia relating to the days opponents in the way of programmes, tickets stubs and other items of historical significance.
This display would be changed prior to each matchday with new and updated memorabilia used. This could change to Challenge Cup, World Club Challenge, Grand Finals or Big Games or simply be used to promote Magic Weekend and season tickets at the start of the season.
The three section arrangement could also be altered so that two or even three panels could used to highlight one significant moment of history relating to the opponents, competition or time of year.
